I got this project through an online hiring board to transfer a current website from a GoDaddy website builder website into a wordpress format he could update himself. After getting the site set up using the Wordpress platform, I used custom JavaScript to add some fun flare to the website. Some of the designs and features he wanted I needed to dig into the php back-end of WordPress to solve.
The images he wanted implemented were very large, so this ended with a large loading time. We discussed the reasons behind compressing such images, but his ultimate desire was to keep them this way so potential clients could see the craftsmanship in his images. The owner has taken what we finished together and has managed his own website because of the foundation I built for him.
